Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Keio University. Passed the National Civil Service General Career Examination (current version). After joining Nippon Life Insurance Company, he was involved in research relating to healthcare and long-term care whilst posted in Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom. Following a stint at the Nissay Research Institute, he left Nippon Life and went on to serve as a lecturer at the Waseda University Extension Centre and at a research organisation under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (at the time), where he was responsible for national survey-related work concerning the healthcare and long-term care insurance systems. After holding positions at Deloitte Tohmatsu LLC (formerly Tohmatsu Limited Liability Audit Corporation) and as Director of the Paramount Health Comprehensive Research Institute, he is currently Representative of Kamakura Bunko (kamakurabunko.com) and Representative of Autre Monde Institute (kaigo119net.com), as well as a healthcare and long-term care journalist and a lecturer for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Registered Lecturer Dispatch Programme.

Après avoir rejoint la Nippon Life Insurance Company, il a mené des études dans le domaine de la santé et des soins pendant ses affectations en Allemagne, en Autriche et au Royaume-Uni. Après avoir travaillé au Nissay Research Institute et quitté Nippon Life, il a occupé les fonctions de chargé de cours au Centre de formation continue de l’Université Waseda, ainsi que celles au sein d’un organisme de recherche relevant du ministère de la Santé, du Travail et des Affaires sociales (à l’époque), où il était chargé des missions d’enquête nationales relatives aux systèmes d’assurance maladie et d’assurance dépendance. Après avoir occupé divers postes, notamment au sein du cabinet d’audit à responsabilité limitée Tohmatsu (Deloitte Tohmatsu) et en tant que directeur de l’Institut de recherche Paramount Health, il est actuellement représentant de Kamakura Bunko (kamakurabunko.com) et de l’Institut Autre Monde (kaigo119net.com), journaliste spécialisé dans les domaines de la santé et des soins, ainsi que formateur agréé par le programme de mise à disposition de formateurs de la préfecture de Tokyo.

Absolvent der Fakultät für Wirtschaftswissenschaften der Keio-Universität. Bestehene Prüfung für den allgemeinen Dienst im öffentlichen Dienst (heute). Nach seinem Eintritt bei der Nippon Life Insurance Company war er während seiner Entsendungen nach Deutschland, Österreich und Großbritannien an Untersuchungen im Bereich Medizin und Pflege beteiligt. Nach seiner Tätigkeit beim Nissei-Forschungsinstitut und seinem Ausscheiden aus der Nippon Life Insurance Company war er als Dozent am Waseda University Extension Center sowie bei einer (damals) dem Ministerium für Gesundheit, Arbeit und Soziales unterstellten Forschungseinrichtung (zuständig für staatliche Untersuchungen im Zusammenhang mit dem Kranken- und Pflegeversicherungssystem) tätig. Nach Stationen bei der Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft Tohmatsu (Deloitte Tohmatsu) und als Direktor des Paramount Health Research Institute ist er derzeit Leiter der Kamakura Bunko (kamakurabunko.com) und des Autre Monde Institute (kaigo119net.com), arbeitet als Journalist für Medizin und Pflege und ist als Dozent im Rahmen des von der Präfektur Tokio registrierten Dozentenvermittlungsprogramms tätig.
